Established in September 2013, the Working Committee on Publication facilitates academic communication through various mediums such as academic books, textbooks, journals, and progress reports. Its members include editors-in-chief of major psychology journals, dedicated scholars, professionals, and society leaders. The committee comprises 26 members and is currently directed by Professor Shen Mowei, with Professor Dong Shenghong and Professor Qiu Bingwu as Deputy Directors.
The primary objective of the Publication Committee is to advance academic publishing in psychology and contribute to the discipline’s development. Its key responsibilities include:
Aligning with the need of national development, societal demands, and discipline construction, via collaborating with relevant professional committees, the committee organizes the compilation and publication of academic and scientific works in psychology.
Organizing scholars and professionals to compile and publish the “Progress Report on the Discipline of Psychology”. This work, in accordance with the directives of the Association for Science and Technology, highlights international frontiers, developmental trends, and the recent achievements and contributions of Chinese scholars.
Organizing regular exchanges and fellowship activities for domestic academic journals in psychology to enhance the overall quality of these journals.
Organizing the annual work meeting of the committee to reinforce its self-construction and operational efficiency.
